In an effort to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of common mental disorders, we have enhanced our screening tool to this web-based module. All assessments are taken anonymously, can be completed in a few minutes and provide an indication of whether or not your symptoms are consistent with one of the following disorders:
Ø Anxiety Disorder
Ø Bipolar Disorder
Ø Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Ø Alcohol Use Disorder
Ø Adolescent Depression
Mental disorders are more common than most people think. In the United States, 1 in 4 people suffers from mental illness; approximately 57.7 million Americans every year. The good news is that these illnesses are very treatable. The key is early recognition and treatment.
If results at the end of the assessment suggest you may need some help, information will be provided on referrals and resources about how and where to get help. Additional resources on how you can help someone struggling with a mental illness will also be available.
Results from your screening does not replace a formal diagnosis by a mental health professional.
