Online Mental Health Screening

Take the opportunity to fill out a brief self-assessment for Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.  Since people can experience more than one of these at the same time, or one can cause symptoms that seem like the others, you may want to take several or all of the screenings offered. Each screening will take 4 to 5 minutes to complete.

The screenings indicate whether your responses are consistent with descriptions of depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, or post-traumatic stress disorder.  Your screening score is informational, not diagnostic.  It is not intended to be used as a substitute for a visit with a medical provider. You will receive information about help resources in the community.

When you click on the link below, you will leave North Seattle Community College’s web page.  NSCC does not manage or control web sites not owned by the college.   A core value and objective of this screening is to preserve participants’ anonymity.  NSCC cannot identify you through your responses.  The only information that can be reported to the college is anonymous and aggregate and provides general information such as number of screenings that take place, combined tallies of results, and general demographic information.  If you prefer not to provide that information, each demographic question allows you to answer "no response".  Answering "no response" will have no impact on the results of your screening.

If you have any questions or concerns about the privacy and security of the online screening tool, please review the privacy policy prior to beginning the screening.
